A Date With China/ Hangzhou (我与中国、杭州有约)

Continue from the previous post, I'm heading towards China~
And the first place that I'm gonna visit would be the city of Hangzhou (杭州) in Chinese~
Hmm, received a new on the plane stating that the flight to China wou;ld took 5 hours~
So, we were expected to reach there by 1pm..

Ehh, so what we do in the plane?
Some of us read...
Some of us sleep..
Some of us chit-chat with others..
And some of us..

Camwhore!! =p
And here's what we got!

* This is the first time that I had a view from such height*

* I had no idea where was I when capturing these photos*

5 hours pass by, and our plane landed on the land of China!
Wee, so excited that time~
Getting out from the airport, we gather with our tour organiser and meet our tour guide of course~~And after putting our's luggage into the travel bus, we began our adventure in China!!!

* Our 8 days tour guide! *

Hmm, so what's our first place of attraction in Hangzhou, China?
Well, we actually went to the ever famous West Lake (西湖) there~
Hmm, what so special about the lake?
For your information, HangZhou is actually one of the cities in JiangNan(江南)~
  1. JiangNan (江南)had already exists for thousand years~
  2. There's a sentence in Chinese which sounds like
  • "皇帝下江南” = The emperor paid a visit to JiangNan
  • “皇帝游西湖" = The emperor take a tour/walk along the Western Lake
  • This place was also the birthplace of legendary stories such as 白蛇传、梁山泊与祝英台 and also the legendary 岳飞!
And to the old sayings, the main reasons that the emperor decided to take a tour along the Western Lake was mainly because of the beautiful scenery here~And here's are some pictures regarding the West Lake~

* Captured along the way before boarding a boat to tour around West Lake*

* The boat we took! Cool! =)*

* 1st Family Photo in China*

* Now I realise why those emperors like to rest at here! *
* The temple was being known as 城隍阁, a place we will visit after this*

* All the ancient things around here were still under good condition!*

* West Lake is not small at all, this was taken at the garden there*

* In love with this place, so calm & peaceful! *

* My lil bro's idea...Ehh, i know we still need to improve on this aspect* =="

* Quote of The Day! It means that if we had the awareness of lushery of greeness in heart, then our feet will keep those lush of greenery~This actually remind people not to step onto the grass*

Ehh, we took about 2 hours and more walking around the West Lake~
So, next stop would be the temple named as "城隍阁" that i mentioned above~
Ehh, the temples consists of 6 storeys~
And we actually went up to the 6 storeys through lift to:-

* Have a bowl of 莲藕丝 -- Some sorts of lotus desserts that works well to help cooling down our body~*

* Camwhore-ing at the top of the temple, behind was the overview of the city of Hangzhou*

Meanwhile, down the temple, we CAMWHORE again! =p

* Lil bro immidating the pose of the mascot~ It was the mascot of the 2010 Shanghai Expo for your info * =P

* Me posing*

Hmm, that place end our 1st day~
After visiting the place, we went to take our dinner before the tour guide sent us back to our hotel~~And even though there is no access to Facebook in China, but still, MSN functions properly! So, chat with my dar in Malaysia before sleeping!
And that sums up my 1st day in China!
Stay tuned for the next post:-
