Dark Brown vs Black~~

Well, due to the school reopening day on 20th of June,
it's time to start packing and turned on the study mood~ ='(
So, everything needed to be taken consider of~
And this include my haircut as well~

So, what hairstyles suited my visit to school this time?

*David Beckham hairstyles? Nope, it was too "COOL" with it in my college!*
Plus, I dont suit it too~

So, just forgot about it~

*Or this? Well, my dar and my mom gonna killed me for this!* ==

So, ignore those two~
How about this?

*Well, this definitely looks good and nice for a 20 years old teen right?*

But still, sad to said,
it was still not acceptable in my college~ ='(
The hair was just too long to be considered of~
Well, by looking at the photo above, I will be caught by the discipline teacher~
Reason?
Hmm..The hair had touched the collar of the shirts! Faint! =="
Had to accept the reality, I'm studying in a governmental college~
Where a future teacher is in the making~
So? Of course we had to set the right example for the children in the future!

Okay then, really cant said anything about that besides obeying the rules~
So, due to the reasons I state above, went for a haircut on Friday, two days before going back~ ='(
And this result was a shocking one!

*Taken at 3/6/11~

*Taken at 17/6/11 aka my new Hairstyles!* =="

Well, the barber aunty would definitely helped me to style up my hair like this every time I finish a cut there~
But if you look more closely, you will found that the colour of my hair was not black at all! =="
GOSH, it looks a bit shiny under the lights!
Ehh, really speechless about that~

Here's what happened~
While the barber aunty was dyeing my hair, she told me about this:-

Aunty: Ermm, I'm afraid that I didnt imported the black colour this time~~
My mom popped out with: Why?
Aunty:Oo, because many people thought that the black colour was too unnatural and a bit outdated~It was just so fake, You know? (Grinning with a smile)
Aunty: So I'm going to dye your hair with the second colour that was the closest to black that she had, the dark brown colour~ Before asking, is it okay with you?
My mom looked at me and I dont know what's going through my mind that moment~
I just uttered out:  Well, it's okay!

Erhem, so I went back to my college with that hairstyles~
Bearing with a thought that I might been caught with that~
From the first day onwards, I received many comments such as:-

"Wow, Brown Hair huh?"
"Wow, plan to be a bad kid huh?"
"Prepared to be caught, you kid!"

Ehh, received plenty~
But that's some of the harsh one~
And even my classmates also wishes me luck and advised me to dye back due to the colour that was just so obvious! =="

*Taken on Wednesday, 22/3/11*
Well, day by day, the colour of the dark brown just turn into light brown and gold!
Ehh, this was due to the fact that the more you wash it, the more obvious the colour would be! >
So, the feeling of being caught at the next assembly grew and not long after that,
I really cant withstand the colour already!

So, did went for a haircut on friday~
And this was the result:-

*Well, definitely feel better with this colour! =)*

*See how black my hair was? =p*

Haha, so that's how I'm look like now~
Maybe it was a waste of 40 bucks just simply to dye my hair,
But the return was just more than everything can says~
At least I found myself and my identity as a Chinese which I'm more comfortable in~

& Most Importantly, I'm Safe From The Assembly Next Time! =)
So, that's all folks~
Just a piece of what happening around me in my daily life~
Do stay tuned for my next posts ya!
Till then, bye! =)

Bye China, Hi Again Malaysia!

This was the last day I'm in China~
There was rain everywhere early in Hangzhou~
Are u trying to stop us from leaving? Suddenly popped out with this in my mind~
Still, our trip moves on! ='(

Finish our breakfast earlier in the morning~
Due to the fact that our plane were scheduled at 2pm,
so it was a must for us to get there by 12pm~
So, we aint going where except for our lunch (or should i called brunch?) after leaving the hotel~

Well, it was a long journey~
And it took us almost 1 hour to reach there~
Along the way, there were just rain's everywhere:-

*Back to the tea farm? No, actually spotted this on the way to the restaurant~*

At that moment, I really hoped that the time would tick slower~
But, it turned out the other way~
Soon, we found ourselves sitting in the restaurant, and enjoying our last meal in China~ ='(

*Outside the restaurant~*

*Our last meal in China, nt that delicious, but definitely would be badly miss! ='(*

So, the so called lunch we had were not that tasty, but for sure,
it was the most memorable one~!
At last, our journey had almost came to an end~
It was during the lunch or dinner time, that we sat together as a group and enjoyed our food~
And it was from there, that we managed to get to know people likes:-

  1. Mr and Mrs. Yap, a nice and friendly couple from Kajang~
  2. Dr. Thillai and his wife, a humourous doctor with his beautiful wife from India~
  3. Headmaster Teng, the strict and highly educated retired headmaster and his wife~
Well, all of us were from different parts, or should i said, different states in Malaysia~
Yet, we still had the opportunity to meet and know such great peoples!
And it was this trip that we had made many friends with different backgrounds, yet we did get along well~
It was my honour, certainly! =)

And not forgetting the tour guide himself~
Thanks for all the hardwork that he had done~
He tried his best to trying to explain all those facts and knowledge we need to know about China~
And he did share some jokes with all of us~
And he did listened to our thoughts patiently, before discussing with the driver about visitng some of the locations that were not in the schedule~

And most importantly, he was a Caring and Responsible guy!!
He did help those oldies in need~
And he did waited for the arrival of all before explaining something when we were at a tourist attraction! =)
*Here's the guy I was talking about! Thanks a lot for your professionalism and attitude! =)*

There's no time to be spared~
Soon we found ourselves in the airport again! =.="
And after bidding farewell to our tour guide~
We began to check in into the departure area~

*Last pictures of us in China~~Always in mind, China!*

And that's it!
Ding dong, the clock strucked 2 in the afternoon and bye China! ='(
If it was 你好 seven days earlier, then it was 再见 this time around~

*Bye, China (再见,中国)!*

*Bye kid, see you next time around!* =)

And managed to capture these in plane:-

*Scene taken during the evening, our flight took off at 2pm and would took 5 hours to reach Kuala Lumpur*

So, that's all about my moments in China~
And with that, I'm proudly to announce that I'm officially finished reporting from China~ =p
But, do stay tuned with my stories in Malaysia~
Promise will keep updating more often~
Till then, see ya readers, have a nice day ahead!
(P/S:Remember to help me to click those advertisements before leaving ya, kindly appreciated) =')

A Date With Wuzhen / Hangzhou (我与乌镇、杭州有约)

Well, I'm back folks!
Sorry for keep you all waiting~
My holiday finished and my school life started again~@>@"
But still, will not stop updating on my posts to you all from time to time! =)

We stopped at day 6 last time~
And let's continue on day 7 today!!
Well, in my previous posts, I did state that I'm staying overnight in the town of Wuzhen~
So, had a good night sleep and here we were the next morning, exploring this small yet historical town~

Hmm, here's some pictures taken by my lil bro who went for a jog earlier in the morning:-

*And it was misty again in the morning!*

*But still, it did not spoil the scene here! =)*

*Aww, love the reflections to max!!*

So, he did returned with some marvellous picha's~
Hmm, not long after that, all of us were ready to explore this town!
But before that, here's some info you need to know about this town of Wuzhen~~

  1. Ranked 4 in the list of top 10 towns and villages in China
  2. Had an eye popping 1200 years of history!
  3. With its black tiled, oil-painted timber framework houses that contrast sharply with its white walls and gray flagging brings to mind a Chinese ink and wash painting, is notable as " home to celebraties".
  4. An tranquil, old style town that will certainly add sparks to our trip this time, quoted from our tour guide~
So, after hearing his comment,
we didnt took long time in finishing our breakfast~
And soon it was the "Moment of Truth"! XDD
And here's what we got,

*Starts with a photo in front of the old water wheel

*Followed by a picha's of my lil bro up the bridge =)*

*Up next was a trip to the old walking alley~*

*And with more reflections to come!*
 *Reflection 1*

*Reflection 2*

*Reflection 3*

*Reflection 4*

And right now, I'm seriously believing what the tour guide said?!
Don't you?
And of course not leaving without some photos of the old buildings there~
Here's other picha's to verify your thought! XDD

*At the stairs*

 *A wine shop*

*Some sort of ancient residue in the old times

And with that our journey in this tranquil small town officially ends!
Every sight, every view, will long live in my memory!
Wuzhen is a certainly a good place to live in~
And I think I had certainly found some inner peace of myself here~
Will definitely coming back to here again in the future!
Wuzhen, wait for me! =)

*Locals from the town of Wuzhen~Seing how they share the peacefulness amongst themselves, I vow to come back next time!*

And soon we were on our way out of this little town~
A 5 minute boat ride and officially we bid farewell to Wuzhen!
So, as usual, we were taken to have our lunch before further continuing our journey~
Well, again, Hangzhou was upnext~
But, there's actually not much to do there~
Our journey had almost reached to an end, but still we were taken to a show there before leaving the following day ='(

The title of the show: The Night of Western Lake (西湖之夜)
And this was how it looks like:-

*Dancers with some pretty costumes doing some dance moves~*

&

*Some handsome and brave soldiers and generals!*

&

*Not forgetting some ladies dress like the servants of the emperor or empress perfoming!*

&

*Oops, there were concubines too! Gosh, their outfits were just FANTABULOUS!*

&

*Of course we can't left out on the acrobats!*

&

*Here comes the legendary couple of Liang San Po and Zhu Ying Tai*

&

*Owh, there was some Buddhist monks too!*

&

*And the eye catching "Thousand Hands of Guanyin (千手观音)* (P/S:Sorry folks, I was sitting at the right hand side of the stage instead of in front of the stage which would gave me direct access of snapping a photo of that)

& Lastly,

*All the perfomers in a variety of costumes bidding farewell to all the spectators!*

Well., thanks for the interesting and colourful show! =)
So, after the 1 hour show was finished, we were brought back to our hotel for some rest~
And that basically concluded two things:-

  1. Day 7~
  2. Our China trip which was a sad thing to said~ ='(
Well, that's all folks~
Do stay tuned for the farewell post from China:-

*Bye China, Hi Again Malaysia!*

Bye folks, and hope you all would not mind to help me to click on those advertisements again before leaving~Thanks! =)

A Date With Shanghai / Wuzhen (我与上海、乌镇有约)

Day 6, woke up and found myself in Shanghai this morning!
Gonna did some exploration on this big city today!
Cant wait for it! =)

However, did endure some bad moments early in the morning in Shanghai~
We plan to visit the 94 storeys high Shanghai World Financial Center (上海环球金融中心)~
But, due to the poor visibility from above, the plan need to be reshuffled a bit~
So, a walk at the famous Shanghai Coast (上海滩)kickstart our day in Shanghai!

*Shanghai Pearl Oriental Tower (上海东方明珠塔)being surrounded by the heavy mist*

*It was just so misty all around!*

*The mist really spoil the picture!* ='(

So, basically just endure some short moment there~
After that, the tour guide tried to call the people from the Shanghai World Financial Centre there~
And they said the visibility there was completely zero!
The plan need to be delayed again and instead of paying a visit there~
We were brought to this place instead:-

*Shanghai "HILLMANN" Cutlery

This company focuses mainly on all the kitchen utensils ranging from all sort of knives, chopping board to men's shavers~
And there was one word to describe all those products----->Sharp! (Or i should add on the word "Extremely"!)
All the products being sold there would definitely lessen your work's in the kitchen~
So, dont miss out on this place too if you are in Shanghai! =)

Afterwards, all of us were being taken to our lunch~
And at there, we managed to taste this:-

*The famous Shanghai's dumpling (小笼包)! Slupp, prepare for some crunchy bite! =p*

Hmm, we received a good new after our lunch~
Well, we can now go to the Shanghai World Financial Center!
The visibility there had already improved!! =)

And here's us in the 94th floor~GOSH! =="

*On my left was the ex tallest building in China, while on my right was the tallest building in China now!(P.s:The building that looks like a chopping board or saw is the Shanghai World Financial Center)*

*Spotted a view outside from where I stand!*

*Arggh, the strong sunlight costs us dearly!Sorry folks*

*Fly me to the top of the world! =p*

Were given 15 minutes up there walking around~
Well, we can went up but the conditions were only slightly better than this morning~
So some of us just capture these pictures from the computers there instead:-

 *The view in the morning*

 *The view at night*

*The view under special condition, misty!*

Haha, those three pictures looks like the real one huh? =p

So, after enjoying the moment on top of the world,
sadly we were brought down to earth again~ ='(
However, did spotted some magnificent evening scenes outside the center! =)

*All the buildings at a glimpse*

*My photogenic dad & mom posing =)*

*Not forgetting to have a family photo*

*And a last glimpse of the center before leaving!*

For more info about the 492m center, check out this link guys!

So, as the evening approached, sad to say,
our moment in Shanghai were in countdown mode~
And after we were being brought to the restaurant there to have a last dinner in Shanghai,
the kind-hearted tour guide and driver managed to sort out some time for our last activity in Shanghai!
That was-----> A walk in the Shanghai Coast at night! (That walk in the morning was not enough!)
Sincerely, thanks a lot to both of them! =)

Seriously, a trip to Shanghai wouldnt be perfect without a trip to the Shanghai Coast at night!
Dont believe me?
Well, once again, let the piccha's do the talkings then!

*The buildings nearby! Love the combinations of the colour! =)*

*With lil bro in front of the "Golden Palace" ~*

*Shanghai At Night~*

*Dad and mom posing with "The Pearl Oriental Tower" behind~*

*Well, with a phrase of I LOVE SHANGHAI before leaving!XDD*

Well, Shanghai totally rocks!
Really enjoy all the moments here~
Even though it is a short moment that I'm here, but still, can be proud of my attendance here! XDDD
All those footsteps on this city, I will never ever forgot till the end of my life!
And for sure, will be back to do some further exploration in this city in the future! =)

So, after 2 hours of driving, we left the big city and found ourselves in a old village~
The name of the village was Wuzhen~
Well, we arrived there almost 10pm with a tired body, so there's nothing much for us to do~
So, here's some photos on this town before signing off!

*Wuzhen (乌镇), here I am!*

*Wuzhen at night can be charming too!*

So, that's all for day 6~
Do stay tuned for day 7 and my next post:-

*A Date With Wuzhen / Hangzhou (我与乌镇、杭州有约)*
